I ordered this duvet because my Mother was coming to visit and I wanted her room to feel as much like a boutique hotel room as possible. Pinzon’s banded duvet did the trick, and when matched with the “Hotel Banded 300-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton” sheets, was over the top. The only reason I didn’t rate this item a five is because of the less than perfect way it comes out of the dryer. Ideally, the bands would lay flat and not require ironing but that’s just wishful thinking. If you’re Mom or in-laws or guests are coming to town and you want to make their stay more enjoyable, you can’t miss with this product. Finding stuff to do with your Mom when she visits for a week or more; well, you’re on your own there

This is really nice looking. However, we have a small dog and the duvet captures and holds her fur and lint. I would recommend it for anyone who doesn’t have a pet.

I agree with the other reviewer: the quality is great and the duvet looks very attractive, nonetheless it automatically wrinkles upon exiting the dryer. I’ve slept in it for two months now and have been very impressed. It also passed the girlfriend test, which is of extreme importance for those guys who don’t possess much interior-decorating sense (like yours truly). All-in-all, if you’re deliberating purchasing the duvet, go for it, you won’t be disappointed, just be cognizant of what I and the other reviewer have already mentioned.

I have been looking for “hotel” style bedding for our new home & this product is outstanding. I bought the whole set including king duvet, skirt, sheets, euro shams, regular shams & throw pillows for around $300 – you just can’t beat the price for the quality. It was more than 1/2 price of the boutique sites that I had been looking at. They are silky smooth, light to sleep under & hardly wrinkle at all. I would recommend getting one size up on your down insert so it fills the duvet to the corners. Could not be happier!

Soft, smooth, rich in feeling and looks. I bought this for my girlfriend because she just moved into her new house. She’d never had a really nice bed set and I thought, I would like to spoil her a bit. She requested something that had a hotel look, look clean in design and felt emotionally cool. I had picked out the silver grey because of these requests. When she placed this set onto her bed, it looked great! Everything about this set felt rich. My girlfriend really liked the clean look of the bright white under portion of the duvet because it really felt like being in an expensive hotel bed. Yes, one pays a bit for it and one will have to iron down the pleats; but, if you care at all on how it makes you feel while in them and what it looks like…I highly recommend this sheet set to you.

The *name* of this product is very misleading. When things seem like they are too good to be true, they usually are. The product is actually a duvet /cover/ and not a duvet. I was expecting to receive an actual down-filled quilt/comforter when I ordered this product….obviously it was just the cover. Yes, the cover is lovely, but it certainly wasn’t what I was expecting.

I purchased this set for my granddaughter who redecorated her room. She picked the gray and white. the quality of the Egytian sateen fabric was amazing; The colors and pattern exactly how it shows on website. Very classic style and look. Make sure to order the banded Euro shams to complete the finished look.
